I take a mixture of chicken thighs and drumsticks and marinate it as long as possible, better overnight. Skip the turmeric if you afraid to put marks on your clothes or use chicken brest small pieces instead. Serve with wild rice.

Step-by-Step

Step 1:
Prepare zest and juice from 1 orange. Slice another orange to use for the decoration later.
Step 2:
Crush the garlic into a bowl, add turmeric, honey, cumin, orange juice and zest and mix well.
Step 3:
Marinate the chicken with the prepared sauce. If you want more flavour leave the chicken to marinate overnight.
Step 4:
Heat the oven for 180 C and place the chicken into a deep tray and leave it in the oven for 40 minutes. Turn it around periodically to absorb the juices.
Step 5:
Before chicken is done, place sliced of oranges on the top and leave in the oven for another 5 minutes to caramelise.
Step 6:
Serve with wild rice and green beans. Enjoy!
