There is a little bakery near home which make fantastic crumple with base. After researching for a recipe to bake something similar I gave up and created my own recipe. This crumble has a base and nice crispy texture.

Ingredients

Step-by-Step

Step 1:
Prepare the plums: cut into small cubes and add 25 g of sugar. Mix well
Step 2:
For the base prepare 160 g of flour, 80 g of room temperature butter, 25 g of sugar and 5 tbsp of water. Make the dough. Spread out the mixture into a cake tin, use a folk to make couple of holes in the dough and bake in the oven 180C for 15 min
Step 3:
Make a crumble mix: you will need 50 g of cold butter sliced, 70 g of flour, 70 g of sugar and 50 g of oat flakes. mix with hands to create a crumple texture. Add crumple mix on the top of the base. Bake for another 25 min till golden
Step 4:
Serve cake with sugar powder and whipped cream
